My professional journey in education has been a unique blend of developing my own educational qualifications while honing my teaching skills through part-time roles. Starting with a foundation in teaching ESOL and EAL in schools and colleges, I have gradually expanded my expertise to teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in higher education. Alongside teaching, I am engaged in research towards a PhD in Education focusing on Distance Higher Education. More recently, I have been working on a number of small projects for publication and presented findings at academic conferences.
